In February 2013 LANtech Communications were awarded a sizable contract by Interserve to supply and install a complete data cabling solution for The Help For Heroes Charities new Rehabilitation Centre building in Devonport Dockyard in Plymouth.

The Endeavour Centre has been developed in the historic Devonport Dockyard and is a purpose built complex with state of the art injury recovery equipment.

The Endeavour Centre is a two storey complex housing specialist rehabilitation facilities including a 25 metre swimming pool, a 25metre sprung floor gymnasium and fully adaptive Cardio Vascular equipment, a physiotherapy suite with purpose designed clinical treatment rooms, and a hydrotherapy pool. The facility will also house a revolutionary Support Hub which will give Servicemen, women and veterans access to specialist Service charities and agencies in a single location, ensuring that they are easily able to access the support they need.

LANtech Communications provided a complete Brandrex 10G Plus CAT6A UTP LSZH data cabling solution for the entire project. The data cabling incorporated 120 Brandrex CAT6A 10G Plus outlets for use as desktop data outlets, CCTV Cameras, WIFI coverage and telephone outlets with the main server room housed on the first floor.

LANtech have provided a Brandrex 25year Warranty, along with the necessary test certification and as fitted drawings for the installation. All work was completed on time and to budget and it was a pleasure to be involved in such a worthwhile project.
