In November 2017 LANtech were awarded a sizable contract by Intoheat a large M&E Contractor in the South West to supply and install a completely new Excel CAT6 UTP LSZH network including comms cabinets for the new Sherford Vale Primary School near Plymouth.

 In November 2017 LANtech were awarded a sizable contract by Intoheat a large M&E Contractor in the South West to supply and install a completely new Excel CAT6 UTP LSZH network including comms cabinets for the new Sherford Vale Primary School near Plymouth.

The primary school is a new and exciting 6million pound school that has been constructed in the new town of Sherford near Plymouth and will when full create 420 new primary places for 2 to 11-year olds and benefits from fairly extensive grounds.

The school has been constructed at the heart of the new community and is constructed over a single level and boasts state of the art facilities. The new school is the first of four planned new schools, including a new secondary school.

LANtech Communications provided a complete Excel CAT6 UTP LSZH data cabling solution for the entire project. The data cabling incorporated approximately 152 Excel CAT6 UTP outlets for use as low-level desktop data/voice outlets and high-level WIFI coverage, CCTV and Access Door Control. The main server room is located in the centre of the building on the ground floor.

No back-bone cabling was required on this project as there was only one Server/Comms Room.

LANtech have provided an Excel 25year Warranty, along with the necessary test certification and as fitted drawings for the installation. The project had a very tight programme, but all work was completed on time and to budget.
